How Laddering Works (READ!!)

(1) JOINING A LADDER
--------------------------------------------
- First you need to signup via the "New Player Signup" (along the left menu under "Player Manager").
- Once signed up >> LOGIN - Now you can join a ladder.
- To do this click on "JOIN A LADDER" along the left menu under "Player Manager".
(2) CHALLENGING & ACCEPTING CHALLENGES

On the homepage under "PENDING CHALLENGES" you will see all unconfirmed challenges - your name might be in there if you have been challenged or are challenging someone.
This is what you will see on the homepage:
If your name IS in fact there - then click the link and it will take you to a page where you can
[RESPOND] or [FINALIZE] depending what stage you´re at.
*You have 48 hours to confirm everything otherwise an automatic "forfeit loss" is handed out*.

You can also go to the "Ladder Page" where you can "CHALLENGE" others and ACCEPT challenges from others.
Everything you need is found on the "Ladder Page" - The entire "back and forth" process to confirm a match goes on in this area. SO BE SURE TO ALWAYS LOGIN AT LEAST EVERY 2 OR 3 DAYS MAX TO SEE PENDING CHALLENGES ON THIS PAGE.

Here´s how that page looks:
- If no one has challenged you yet - you will see a "CHALLENGE" link. *CLICK IT and pick someone to play against!
- If you have been "Challenged by someone" you will see something like "ACCEPT CHALLENGE".
- If you are "Challenging someone" and awaiting their reply - you will see something along the line of "PENDING REPLY".
(3) REPORTING LOSSES & CONFIRMING WINS

LOSSES must be reported "first" - only then can the winning team "CONFIRM A WIN".
- To "Report A Loss" - click the "REPORT A LOSS" link in the left menu under "Player Manager".
- To "Confirm A Win" the loser must "REPORT A LOSS" *FIRST* - only then it will show up for the winnner on the "Confirm A Win" page which is found along the left menu under "Player Manager".
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

- Game times are based on PST timezone (it can be found at the bottom of all the pages of the website.)
*Set match times accordingly.*
- There is a 3 day time limit to Reply to a challenge. (or match is forfeited)
- There is a 3 day time limit to Finalize a challenge. (or match is forfeited)
- Once the match is fully confirmed you can always play your ladder match earlier then the set time you agreed on.

FYI: The following changes have been made to the ladder ranking system:
- PLAYER RANKING IS NOW BASED ON A POINTS SYSTEM
A win gets you 4 XP (+4 Experience Points) and a loss gets you -2 XP ( -2 Experience Points).
- If a player forfeits a match by not responding in time they no longer receive a loss - and the challenger no longer receives a win. It´s just stated as -Forfeited- in the description.
- If a player forfeits 3 times in a row they are tagged with an image that states they may be inactive.
- If a player forfeits 10 times they are tagged again and locked from being able to be challenged again.
- Badge Ranking has been added.
21 different badges - the more wins you get the higher ranked badge you receive. These can be found on the LADDER PAGE.
- 5 Wins in a row or more gets you a surprise animation by your name!
